VISTA is a new dance work by choreographer Stephanie Lake and the Stephanie Lake Company, exploring the fragility of human perception. Presented in two halves, the work examines how one event can fracture into entirely different readings depending on the viewer's perspective, showing the same choreographic sections with changes to dancers, tempo, and mood. The production features costumes by Melbourne fashion label Alpha60 designed by Georgie Cleary, an original score by Robin Fox, lighting design by Bosco Shaw, and performances by dancers Rachel Coulson, Tyrel Dulvarie, Marni Green, Hugo Poulet, Robert Tinning, and Georgia van Gils. Following its Melbourne premiere, VISTA will tour to Carriageworks in Sydney and Brisbane Powerhouse.
