As you step through the doors of this breath-taking heritage listed dining room youll find yourself immersed in the world of operatic splendour.Tickets are $150 (+booking fee) and include a 90-minute fully costumed show, 3-course meal and two welcome drinks. (Further drinks available for purchase at the venue).Saturday 18th June - "Carmen"Escape to sultry Spain with everyones favourite Gypsy temptress. Be seduced by Bizets ravishing melodies as passions ignite and fates collide in this adaptation of one of the world's favourite operas.Ex-corporal of Dragoons Don Jos awaits his fate in a court of law. He addresses the jury (you!) and tells of how he was guarding a cigarette factory in Seville. There, he succumbed to the charms of the gypsy temptress Carmen. Allowing her to escape arrest, he abandoned his regiment (not to mention his hometown sweetheart, Michaela), and embarked on the life of a gypsy smuggler. Soon, Carmen tired of Don Jos and looked to the sexy bullfighter Escamillo who turned her head. Passion drove Don Jos towards an inexorable fate ...The music and drama never fail in this fresh retelling of Bizet's famous opera. A fully costumed, engaging production, sung in English. Come, and be part of the action!The show run-time is 90 minutes with dinner served around the show.
