Hollywood in Concert at Riverside Theatre

The Metropolitan Orchestra (TMO) return to the Riverside Theatre in Parramatta for a special one-night-only event showcasing some of the greatest movie music ever written. Led by dynamic Chief Conductor Sarah-Grace Williams and backed by a full orchestra, this blockbuster event will delight and inspire with incredible music from cinematic masterpieces that has become a component of our very culture.

Featured composers include the irrepressible John Williams with music from Superman, Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, ET and Schindler’s List featuring an emotive and powerful solo performance from TMO Concert master Victoria Jacono-Gilmovich.

Other program features include music from Pirates of the Caribbean by Klaus Badelt, the Sorcerer’s Apprentice by Paul Dukas, Danny Elfman’s haunting Batman Theme, Jerry Goldsmith’s fantastic Star Trek End Titles, plus the moving Adagio for Strings from Albinoni as featured in the movie Gallipoli and more.

Come along and hear incredible music you’ve grown to know and love, as well as perhaps one or two works you didn’t know you adored. Whether you’ve been to a live orchestra or not, you will leave the concert with a smile on your face while humming your favourite movie tunes.
