Lambert House Enterprises in association with Gingers and The Oxford Hotel are gave announced a limited season of performances of the acclaimed OBIE award-winning play THE NIGHT LARRY KRAMER KISSED ME. This year marks the 20th Anniversary of its production in Australia, having been performed by playwright David Drake himself during the Sydney Mardi Gras in 1994 at Belvoir St Theatre.

THE NIGHT LARRY KRAMER KISSED ME consists of a string of vignettes covering the autobiographical life of American playwright David Drake throughout the major period of gay rights history in America. From Stonewall to a new monologue written by Drake specifically for this Sydney production set in a near-distant future of total marriage equality. This is a raunchy, funny theatre piece that all Australian audiences will identify.

This world premiere of Drake's newly edited work follows a sold-out benefit performance on Broadway last year for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS by ten of the top young rising male talents of the current Broadway generation. THE NIGHT LARRY KRAMER KISSED ME was originally one of the longest-running one-man shows Off-Broadway in the 1990s. Since then it has been performed all over the world.

BEN HUDSON, fresh from his success as Lurch in The Addams Family and Australian tour of Love Never Dies as well as a finalist in this year's International Cabaret Showcase joins co-star JAMES WRIGHT (Three Winters Green, Relative Merits), who is currently hosting the new comedy cabaret sensation The Jambles Rambles Show at Slide Bar and won the 2013 GLUGs Encouragement Award.

Exciting new talent KYNAN FRANCIS is directing Hudson and Wright. Francis is a drama graduate of QUT and returns to Australia after a successful season of the play Take Me Out in Singapore following work with Universal Studios and Harvest Rain Theatre Co.

Raunchy, frank and funny, THE NIGHT LARRY KRAMER KISSED ME plays for nine performances as a late show at 11pm from 19 to 27 February at GINGERS above THE OXFORD HOTEL in Darlinghurst, with an early show on Feb 27 at 8pm.
