PACT Centre for Emerging Artists presents SLURP

PACT Centre for Emerging Artists will present SLURP! on Saturday 16th March as part of their celebrated Salon series - one night only SLURP!PACT Centre for Emerging Artists will present mini festivals showcasing eclectic new works.

PACT Salon: SLURP! is an exploration of the sensory response and nostalgia, engaging with the five senses to fully immerse the body in a liminal space.

Curated by artists Carla Zimbler and Mikaela Stafford, SLURP! encourages self-discovery as it asks its audience to peer inwards and meditate on sensations of touch, taste, sight, smell SLURPand sound. !Curated by artists Carla Zimbler and Mikaela Stafford,

Audiences will weave through A/V chambers that inspire dialogue and emotional connectedness, immersed in an environment that provides sanctum from external noise and visual disturbance.

Stafford said, "Come along and experience this syrupy sanctum amalgamating a diverse selection of experimental art practices positioned to engulf audiences into a ."multi sensory overload

Zimbler and Stafford are Melbourne-based independent artists. Zimbler is a multimedia projection artist who creates meditative, transformative environments which aid in the experience of sound and spatial awareness. Stafford is an interdisciplinary installation and performance artist who primarily experiments with large scale, kinetic, light-based installations.
