Mother's Ruin Presents a Wild Gin-Fuelled Speakeasy in A CABARET ABOUT GIN
Warm the depths of winter at Hot Gin Punch, a wild, gin-fuelled speakeasy presented by Mother's Ruin: A Cabaret About Gin and Four Pillars Gin at Giant Dwarf for one night only. Join the creators of Mother's Ruin for a party, a show, cocktails, mayhem and more.
In the midst of Australia's gin renaissance, Hot Gin Punch combines two great eras for gin - 1920s prohibition and the English gin craze of the 1700s. Think Gatsby meets Oliver Twist!
The stars of Mother's Ruin have a proven track record, performing to sold out crowds and critical acclaim around the country. With live music, dancing, parlour games, gin-spiked snacks, barrel-aged Four Pillars Negronis and of course, a best dressed prize, this is the perfect chance to polish those dancing shoes and dust off your finery for a night that won't be forgotten.
If your memory ends up a bit foggy, you're covered with a photo booth manned by acclaimed photographer Patrick Boland, who was a finalist in the National Photographic Portrait Prize with his portrait of Mother's Ruin's two stars, 'The Gin Soaked Effervescence of Libby and Maeve'.
Tickets include a Four Pillars Gin & Tonic with further gin cocktails available to purchase.
Menu designed by Claire Van Vurren of Newtown's Bloodwood.
