Some of the brightest names in comedy will come together for the first time on stage for the 7th annual Just For Laughs Sydney All Star Gala.

Hosted by the much-loved comedian, television and radio star, Dave Hughes and featuring an incredible line-up of international and Australian comedians including Kevin Bridges, Gad Elmaleh, Wil Anderson, Bert Kreischer, Denise Scott, and Anne Edmonds. This is a show not to be missed!

Opening for the Logies for the last 3 years in a row and with his laconic and fast comedic style it is safe to assume the Opera House will be in safe hands with DAVE HUGHES as this year's host. Naturally and unmistakably Australian, Hughsey's laconic style thinly disguises one of this country's fastest comedic minds. KEVIN BRIDGES is Scotland's biggest comedy export selling over 500,000 tickets last year in the UK alone. GAD ELMALEH, France's answer to Jerry Seinfeld, is one of the world's biggest comedians seeing him perform record sell-out shows in Paris' Olympia Theatre Hall for seven consecutive weeks. Host of ABC'S smash hit Gruen, 2010 Gold Logie nominee and host of the popular podcast TOFOP, Wil Anderson is first and foremost a stand-up comic performing more than a hundred shows a year.

Said to be the inspiration behind Van Wilder, BERT KREISCHER's wildly hilarious stories make him a regular guest on the Joe Rogan Experience and Rachel Ray Show, as well as having appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Late Night with David Letterman.

Currently the voice of Travel Guides on Nine, and touring the country with Judith Lucy in their runaway live smash Disappointments - the Barry Award-winning DENISE SCOTT is an all-time face of Australian audiences. ANNE 'EDDO' EDMONDS is one of Australia's most exciting stand-up comedians and has brought her exquisitely incisive characters and acute perspective to TV, clubs and festivals all over the world. This really is a huge lineup and a not to be repeated show.

In addition to the JFL All-Star Gala, new exclusive stand up shows have also just been announced.

JOEL CREASEY will perform two shows at the Opera House Studio which will be filmed for his first solo television special. Comedy fans have the chance to come and be part of TV history. The protégé of the late great Joan Rivers, Creasey has presided over the commentary duties during Eurovision and is wrapping up 2017 with the release of his first memoir and his debut in a television drama.

LUKE McGREGOR will also be bringing his solo show 'ALMOST FIXED IT' to the Opera House. Since Luke's break through 2014 stand up show I Worry That I Worry Too Much, things have improved out of sight for Australia's favourite awkward, obsessive compulsive comedian. He has become a genuine star of the small screen by way of his very own uncomfortably illuminating documentary series Luke Warm Sex. He also created and starred in Rosehaven with fellow comedian and real life best friend Celia Pacquola.
