There are three more chances to see Kong Ubu at the Theater Neumarkt before it closes Thursday, November 29.
The play which was written by Alfred Jarry in 1896 is a wild, bizarre, and comic play, significant for the way it overturns cultural rules, norms, and conventions. The play was thought to be seen as a parody of Shakespeare's Macbeth and some parts of Hamlet and King Lear.
Starring Marie Bonnet, Simon Brusis, Miro Maurer, Ingolf Muller-Beck, and Sarah Sandeh.
