Musikalyra with superstars to Ystad! Last year's successful performance Musikalyra is back in Ystad Theatre
He has had starring roles in famous musicals such as Fame, Les Miserables, Cats and Jesus Christ Superstar.
She has sung duets with Tom Jones and has toured with artists such as Tina Turner, Celine Dion, Sarah Brightman, Kim Wilde and Robbie Williams.
On 8-9 August, Mr and Mrs Fred Jackson and Hazel Fernandes back to Ystad with guest artists for a hotly-anticipated show at the theater.
Last year, enthralled Fred Jackson and Hazel Fernandes audience during two crammed sparkling musical concerts at Ystad Theatre.
Soon they are back in town for a follow-up of musical festival.
And this time they are joined by Sweden's best rock bands and guest artists! District's son Anders Glenmark and everybody's Mamma Mia Donna Gunilla Backman complements Fred and Hazel on 8-9 August.
- It will be fun to sing along with my wife again. It's not too often I and Hazel occur together, but most importantly, I look forward to coming back to Ystad theater, says Fred Jackson who only have positive impressions with him from his last visit to Ystad.

Fred Jackson during his 20 years as a musical artist, among other things, had leading roles in Fame, Footloose, Cats, Les Miserables, Beauty & the Beast, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sunset Boulevard, Evita and now Rebecca at Malmö Opera. He has Europe that labor and are 15 years living in London where he stayed after his West End debut in Jesus Christ Superstar.

In the latter, the musical - where Fred played Pontius Pilate - he met incidentally his wife Hazel Fernandes (Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar) as thus he is joined on stage again this time.
Hazel was born and raised in London, and during his career made three albums, starred in several musicals in the West End, sung a duet with Tom Jones and was lead singer with the Brand New Heavies. She has toured the world with Jamiroquai and other artists such as Tina Turner, Celine Dion, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams and Sinead O'Connor.
Talk about it gets votes in the class that will touch the audience in Ystad Theatre.
- It's always fun to come home to Sweden and work, said Fred who lives in London but that besides the show at Ystad Theatre is current in the musical Rebecca which is played at the Malmö Opera in the spring of 2014.
So what can the audience in the theater expect of Musicals acid in Ystad?
Many famous songs from the musicals of course and this will be a delicate task for Fred and Hazel to pick and choose among all gems.
- Do not cry for me Argentina from Evita, Music of the Night (Phantom of the Opera) and I do not know how to love him (Jesus Christ Superstar) are pretty safe bets, like Stars from Les Miserables, and All I care about is love (Chicago) and also something from Mamma Mia with Gunilla and Anders reveals Fred.
Fred and Hazel are not the only family members who are at the stage of 8-9 August. The couple's nine year old daughter Sofia will also be involved and play a little flute.
High standard throughout
Also at the side of star duo Johansson / Fernandes class is high. The band's conductor Stefan Olsson (bassist) teacher at Pops School in Åkersberga has also played with Magnus Uggla, Orup and GES. Jörgen Ingeström (keyboards) has worked with such luminaries as Sheeba, Il Divo, Westlife and been Thomas Ledin bandmaster the past 20 years while Nicci Wallin (drums) is the son of jazz legend Bengt-Arne Wallin and has played with several Muppets, Roxette Jerry Williams and Thomas Ledin.
Lasse Andersson (guitarist) have both played with and produced Thomas Ledin, written and / or produced Joe Cocker (the title song of the album "No Ordinary World", John Farnham, Natalia, Billie Piper, Northern Line Winds, Kate Hall.
In conjunction with the show at Ystad Theatre also released a CD - going to get signed - with all the songs from last year's Musikalyra.

During the 1980s, she worked in the group Katz, but was relatively unknown to the Swedish audience until she landed the role of Donna in Mamma Mia at Cirkus in Stockholm in 2005. She also had a role in the so-called Melodifestivalen Musical, which was a series of cutscenes during the Eurovision Song Contest 2007.
During the summer of 2008 touring Gunilla Backman with Jan Johansen, Sara Löfgren, Johan boding and Janne Schaffer in "Sun, wind & water" tour that stopped at six locations around Sweden. In spring 2009, she participated in the show prima donnas at Hamburger Exchange. During fall 2010 and spring 2011 she starred as Norma Desmond in Gothenburg Opera Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Sunset Boulevard. She received the Swedish musical award in 2010 for that role.
Anders Glenmark, born in Tomelilla, is a Swedish pop and rock singer, musician and record producer. He is the brother of Karin Glenmark.
Anders Glenmark has participated in several groups, such as family group Glenmark and siblings duo Gemini. He had his greatest success as a solo artist in the early 90's with discs, she has flowers in her hair, I'm here for you, 99 and Boogie in my head. Glenmark is since 1994 member of the sporadically existing group GES together with Orup and Diamond Rio.
He has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest six times, including three as a member of Glenmark. The group competed in 1973 with the song "A little song like everyone else" (4th place), in 1974 with "In different countries" (8th place) and 1975 with "Lady Antoinette" (6th place). In 1981, he attended alone with the song "It's my life - it's me" (4th place). Along with her sister Karin, he competed in 1984, before the duo was called Gemini, with the song "Cold as Ice" (4th place). Finally, he competed in 1989 along with Orup with the song "Up above my ears" that ended up in second place.
Glenmark has been producing successful records, among others, Eva Dahlgren, GES, Patrik Isaksson, Anni-Frid "Frida" Lyngstad, Orup and Magnus Uggla.
