The Department of Visual and Theatre Arts at UT Martin helps you fully realize your talents and prepare you for your life's work — not just working to live. Our programs give you ample opportunity to perform or exhibit works. We believe you can't succeed unless you participate. Opportunities include professional performance auditions, guest artists, workshops, festivals, museum trips, and much more. Visual and Theatre Arts graduates receive the right training with the latest in tools, techniques, and technology for today's competitive working world.

Acceptance rate

The University of Tennessee at Martin has a general acceptance rate of 87.3%, but the Department of Visual and Theatre Arts doesn't have a separate acceptance rate, instead, all students enter through the BA degree with the possibility of moving to a BFA program after a foundation review.
