Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Performance Studies

Doctor of Philosophy in Theatre and Performance Studies


Positioned at the heart of a world-renowned academic institution and housed in a state-of-the-art presenting facility, the Committee on Theater and Performance Studies (TAPS) offers an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree, a joint Ph.D. program, a TAPS-focused Master of Arts Program in the Humanities, and wide-ranging curricular and production opportunities. The TAPS program – including a new and expanding dance program – supports a broad array of expressive forms, encouraging experimentation, risk-taking, imaginative thinking and deep knowledge-building. TAPS students gain fluency in devising artistic work and engaging it critically. They build skills relevant to a variety of professional pursuits, equipping them to lead the conversation about the future of the performing arts.
