Because we are solely undergrad, you’ll interact directly with faculty who bring extensive real-world experience, impressive credentials and professional connections. You’ll also interact with accomplished artists, composers and leading industry professionals in master classes and informally. Our philosophy is that you should take full advantage of all of your musical opportunities. Teach children and adults through the Music Preparatory Program or in a public school K-12 setting. Take a music-focused trip abroad through our award-winning Global Opportunities program. From the classroom to the studio to the recital hall and beyond, you’ll be inspired to pursue your personal and professional goals. The music department is part of Susquehanna University's School of the Arts, which provides professional-level training in music, theatre, creative writing, and visual arts within a liberal arts framework. Degrees awarded include a BFA in Acting and BFA in Graphic Design, among several other BA offerings.
