The mission of the Department of Communication and Theatre Arts is simple. Our goals are straight-forward and direct. We seek to inspire our students to reach for a higher sense of personal growth and mastery. We endeavor to teach with dedication, diligence and innovation. We aspire to create, explore and discover in ways that will touch human hearts and minds and contribute meaningfully to the body of knowledge and in so doing change the world. We strive to serve with imagination, enthusiasm and purpose in opportunities both large and small within our department, college, university, community and professions.
