About the program
The Music Department at Cal U offers students who want to pursue their love of music the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Science in Commercial Music Technology or a music minor.
The 120-credit commercial music technology program draws on the expertise from six University departments: Music, Communication Studies, Applied Engineering and Technology, Theater, Communication Disorders, and Business. It prepares students for careers as recording and broadcast engineers, audio engineers for television and film, digital composers and arrangers, video game developers, sound mixers, and sales representatives within the music industry.
Our programs expose you to the various historical, analytical and aesthetic elements of music, thereby providing an opportunity to broaden and enrich personal enjoyment.
