About the program

The Music Department is a vibrant part of the ministry of Asbury University. Degree offerings include a Bachelor of Arts in Music or a Bachelor of Science in Music Education. For the Bachelor of Arts, optional emphases include Church Music, Music Composition/Arranging, Music History/Literature, Music Performance. or Pre-Music Therapy. Music Education options include (general music, vocal, instrumental or a combined vocal/instrumental endorsement). The Music Department also offers supporting courses for degree offerings that emphasize Musical Theatre (offered through the Media Communications Department) and Worship Arts (offered through the Media Communications Department).
