First Run Theatre, a professional company dedicated to presenting world premieres of unpublished plays by local-area playwrights, will present its 8th Annual Play Reading Festival early next month. The Festival is free and open to the public. Donations are accepted.

First Run will present the 5 finalists from this year's twenty-nine script submissions. The Festival will take place in the Thomas Hunter Theater at DeSmet Jesuit High School, 233 N. New Ballas Road, Creve Coeur MO, on March 6 & 7. There will be a short discussion after each play, and audience participation is strongly encouraged. First Run will select productions for its upcoming season at a special Board meeting following the readings.

Reading Times:
Saturday March 6:
2pm - "Then and Now" by Michael W. Kramer

7pm - two one-act plays - "Don't Stop Believing" by Courtney Kennedy, and "A
Moment of Grace" by Bill Borst. Each play will be discussed after its reading.

Sunday March 7:
1pm "Attack on the Heart" by Bill Hopkins

6pm "Rebecca And..." by David N. Stein
