The British baritone Simon Keenlyside, remembered at the Liceu for his brilliant performances in Hamlet and Don Giovanni, is back with a recital of German Lieder and French mélodies. The fine selection of works offered includes Schumann's Kerner-Lieder and some brilliant songs by Poulenc, a composer with links to the avant-garde, who added sparkle to Parisian night life in the early 20th century.
