Seoul Philharmonic's Ars Nova is a contemporary music series programmed by Unsuk Chin, a composer-in-residence of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. In sprin 2013, Ars Nova presents homage to Bernd Alois Zimmermann, one of the most important composers in the 20th century. Hakan Hardenberger, the greatest trumpet artist of our time plays the works by Zimmermann and Hoeller.
Peter Hirsch conducts Ives and Ginastera as well as Zimmermann.
