Rambert Dance Company is the Britain's oldest and premiere dance company. Founded by Marie Rambert as a classical ballet company in 1926, it exerted a great influence on the development of dance in the UK, and today, as a contemporary dance company, it continues to be one of the world's most renowned dance companies. Under the artistic direction of Mark Baldwin, it shares with audiences the widest range of repertoire including landmark dance from the 20th century and new works by young choreographers.
