Trustus Theatre continues its' 25th Anniversary Season with the presentation of Mr. Charles, Currently of Palm Beach and Pride & Joy by Paul Rudnick and directed by Jim Thigpen in their Black Box Theatre opening Oct. 8 and continuing with performances on Oct. 9, 10, 11, 15, 16 & 17.
Mr. Charles, played by Gerald Floyd, is a hilarious comedy of the most joyously, fiercely, politically incorrect creature imaginable. We watch as he hosts his own late night cable show in South Florida, taking questions from the audience. "What causes homosexuality?" a viewer inquiries. "I do." Mr. Charles replies.

Pride & Joy stars DiAnne Wilkins in her Black Box debut as the mother of some exceptional children. Thigpen says, "It's the funniest monologue I have read in years."

This year, Trustus is offering a package of 6 tickets for the Black Box for $60. Individual tickets are $12. Reservations may be made by calling the box office at 803-254-9732 between 1 & 6, Monday through Saturday.
