St. Paddy's Day Parade Block Party And Parade Comes to North Charleston Saturday, March 10 Come join the biggest St. Patrick's Day celebration in the Lowcountry on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 12:00pm - 6:00pm in the Olde Village of North Charleston. The 15th Annual St. Paddy's Day Block Party & Parade promises fun for the entire family. The Block Party location is East Montague Avenue between Virginia Avenue and Jenkins Avenue.

The celebration will feature live music across four stages, street vending and delicious fare from Park Circle restaurants, additional specialty food vendors, charity partner booths, the ever popular mechanical bull and a Kid's Zone with fire trucks, jump castles, face painting, inflatable slide and a bungee trampoline.

Live music line-up includes:

Family Zone Stage sponsored by North Charleston Cultural Arts: 12:30pm Mark Schuler, 2:00pm Good Foot Band, 3:30pm Paddy McGee Duo

EVO Pizzeria Stage Sponsored by The Factory @ Garco Apartments: 12:30pm Capitol City Playboys, 1:30pm The Ectomorphs, 2:30pm Dustin P. Fanning & The Seconds Out 4:00pm The Metro Tools

Guinness Stage at Madra Rua Irish Pub: 12:30pm Karl Byrne, 2:00pm The Black Iron Gathering, 4:30pm Don Merckle & The Blacksmiths

Madra Rua Side Stage: 1:00pm Charleston Pipe Band, 2:00pm Danny May, 4:00pm John Cusatis

The block party kicks off with a parade starting on Park Place East (adjacent to East Montague Avenue and across from Park Circle Community Center) at 12:00 noon. The parade route will proceed down East Montague Avenue through the block party location to Virginia Avenue. The parade Grand Marshalls will be James Hartzog, General Manager of Madra Rua Irish Pub Park Circle and Jason Weber, General Manager of Madra Rua Irish Pub Summerville and will feature North Charleston's Mayor Keith Summey, Councilman Bob King, The Charleston Pipe Band, North Charleston High ROTC, Sumter Guards of Charleston, The Lowcountry High Rollers Roller Derby Team and many more!

East Montague Ave. between Virginia Ave. and Jenkins Ave. and portions of O'Hear Ave., Chateau Ave. and Colie Morse Lane will close at 9:00am for set up and remain closed until 7:00pm. Additionally, East Montague Avenue between Park Place East and Jenkins Avenue will close at 11:30am and stay closed for the duration of the parade. The party, parade and parking are free to the public. Parking is very limited, please carpool and utilize care when parking in adjacent neighborhoods. VIP Parking will be available for $5 at North Charleston High School and will benefit the North Charleston High PTSA and Senior Week activities. Free parking will be located on O'Hear Avenue by accessing Virginia Avenue from I-526 East. Follow parking signs from Virginia Avenue.
