JUNIE B. JONES Opens At Columbia Children's Theatre
She's back! And this time she may or may not be a criminal! Join Columbia Children's Theatre (CCT)-the Midlands' only professional theatre for families and young audiences-as they present this hilarious adaptation of Barbara Park's Junie B. Jones Is Not A Crook, February 24 - March 4. Show times are Saturdays at 10:30 am, 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm, and Sundays at 3:00. All performances are held at Columbia Children's Theatre's new performance space on the 1st level of Richland Mall, 3400 Forest Drive next to Barnes & Noble. Tickets for the Saturday and Sunday performances are $10.00 for children three years of age through adult. The 7:00 p.m. performances on Saturday evenings will have a special ticket price of $5.00 for everyone. Advance tickets can be purchased securely online at columbiachildrenstheatre.com. Based on Barbara Park's beloved books Junie B. Jones Is Not A Crook and Junie B. Jones Loves Handsome Warren, Allison Gregory's adaptation follows Junie as she attempts to get to the bottom of the case of her stolen mittens. Directed by Ilene Fins, the production features Bailey Sendler, Mahogany Collins, Julian Deleon, Jeremy Reasoner, Noah Barker, Rachel Cooper and Mary Miles.
Set entirely on a playground that magically transforms into all the locations of Junie's real, (and sometimes not so real) world this fast-paced, high energy production is sure to keep 'em laughing at any age.
