The Community Playhouse of Lancaster County presents the powerful drama, The Diary of Anne Frank, Feb. 11-19, 2011 at the Bundy Auditorium on the campus of the University of South Carolina at Lancaster. Individual tickets are on sale for $10 for Adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Tickets for Seniors (60 and over) and students (valid student I.D.) $8.

In this transcendently powerful new adaptation by Wendy Kesselman, Anne Frank emerges from history a living, lyrical, intensely gifted young girl, who confronts her rapidly changing life and the increasing horror of her time with astonishing honesty, wit, and determination. An impassioned drama about the lives of eight people hiding from the Nazis in a concealed storage attic, The Diary of Anne Frank captures the claustrophobic realities of their daily existence-their fear, their hope, their laughter, their grief. Each day of these two dark years, Anne's voice shines through and continues to do so today.

The cast includes the talents of many familiar faces such as Harold Skinner, Don McManus, Grant Baker, Jay Kistler, Melissa Steele, Cathy Zouves, Amber Luck, Holly Cenzer, George Weldon and welcomes Amanda Berkowitz playing the role of Anne Frank.

Bundy Auditorium, USC-Lancaster is located at:
