Charlotte Center City Partners Presents HOLIDAYS IN THE CITY Auditions 11/6-8

By: Oct. 27, 2009

Charlotte Center City Partners is bringing Holidays in the City to life in a new way.

Center City Partners is recruiting talented performers for a variety of roles in our Uptown Holiday Cast. We are looking for creative individuals who can provide a fresh new take on holiday entertainment. Don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to share your special skills with our visitors.

Talents we are looking for include:

Singers that can "Move": Prepare two songs (a ballad and up-tempo) with accompaniment (CD may be used). We are looking for singers that are proficient in more than one performance style including: rock, pop, musical theatre, swing, and classical. Please come prepared with a brief dance combination with accompaniment (CD may be used). Does not have to be professional, just something that will show us that you have dancing abilities.

Actors/Character Actors: Show us your best with a one-minute comic monologue. Irish, British, and Scottish dialects are of particular interest but not required.

Specialty Talents: Stilt walkers, mimes, jugglers, comedy magicians, or any other family-oriented specialty talents are welcome. Prepare a brief example. Bring necessary equipment. CD player is provided.

*Multiple talents are highly encouraged. If you have the ability to do a combination of talents please be prepared to show us. The more talent a person has the higher pay received.

*For all talents please be prepared to demonstrate your improvisational skills.

Dates to Audition: Audition Times:
Friday, Nov. 6 5pm-9pm
Saturday, Nov. 7 10am-1pm, 2pm-5pm
