Centre Stage presents HAPPY CHRISTMAS SHIRLEY

"Holiday family dysfunction as you've never seen it before...or have you?"

It's Christmas Eve and the outside of Shirley's house looks like the Blackpool Illuminations. Inside, everything is ready and Shirley is determined to have the perfect Christmas day. But will she be able to keep a lid on family feuds? Will grumpy Nan go too far this year? Will heavily pregnant daughter Donna give birth? And how on earth will Shirley react when her other daughter tells her she has invited a lonely old man to share their Christmas dinner?

This US Premiere features holiday family dysfunction at its finest. From the neighbors next door who have had a bit too much to drink, to the creepy uncle who gets a little too friendly with just about everyone, this show will be a great way to kick off the Holiday season. Filled with laughter and poignant family moments, Happy Christmas, Shirley will fill everyone with Christmas cheer and leave them feeling a little better about their own dysfunctional family!

Tickets for Happy Christmas, Shirley are $30, $25, and $15. Student rush tickets are available for $15 with school ID (based on availability), one ticket per ID. Group tickets are also available. For rates, contact the Box Office.

Shows run Tuesday - Saturday at 8pm, and also include a Saturday matinee at 2pm, and Sunday matinee at 3pm. All seats are reserved. Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office at (864) 233-6733 on Tuesdays - Fridays from 2-6 p.m, in person at the Centre Stage Box Office, or online at www.centrestage.org. Handling fees will be applied to all purchases.
