Centre Stage Presents Sweeney Todd, A Musical Thriller from an adaptation by Christopher Bond based on the book by Hugh Wheeler. Music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim

Sweeney Todd, The Demon of Fleet Street is a suspenseful, heart-pounding masterpiece of murderous barbarism and culinary crime, telling the infamous tale of the unjustly exiled barber who returns to 19th century London seeking revenge against the lecherous judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. His thirst for blood soon expands to include his unfortunate customers, and the resourceful proprietress of the pie shop downstairs, soon has the people of London lining up in droves with her mysterious new meat pie recipe!

Directed by David Sims with Musical Direction by Jeff Lewis, Sweeney Todd features Will Ragland as Sweeney Todd, Mary Freeman as Mrs. Lovett, Patrick Osteen as Anthony Hope, Chelsea Rudisill as Johanna, Brady Smith as Tobias Ragg, Christian Elser as Judge Turpin, Jonathan Kilpatrick as The Beadle, Miranda Notus as Beggar Woman, Jim Broussard as Adolfo Pirelli and Bruce Meahl as Jonas Fogg. Rounding out the cast is an excellent ensemble of eight male and female vocalists.

Shows Thursdays-Sundays ONLY, with the exception of Monday, October 31, 2011. Adult tickets are $30 with discounts available for students and groups. All seats reserved.
