BWW Previews: Rehearsal update from Glow Lyric Theatre's Artistic Director Jenna Tamisiea Elser
One week into the rehearsal process for their 2018 summer festival season, Glow Lyric Theatre's Jenna Tamisiea Elser shares an update on their progress.
Demand the Right to Dream is this year's theme, embodied in three must-see productions.
From Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of Hamilton, comes the smash Broadway hit IN THE HEIGHTS- a fiesta of a show that will have you dancing down the aisles. Then, be empowered by the heroic actions of Leonora as she fights to save her husband in Ludwig van Beethoven's only opera, FIDELIO. Finally, you'll shed tears of laughter as you follow the hilarious forbidden love between the refined Josephine and the rough and tumble sailor Ralph in Gilbert & Sullivan's HMS PINAFORE.
