BWW Previews: MIDLANDS THEATRE ROUNDUP in Columbia, SC

OPENING! The South Carolina Shakespeare Company presents The Liar by David Ives, adapted from Le Menteur by Pierre Corneille. The production is directed by Scott Blanks and stars Jeff Driggers, Sam Hetler, Hillary MacArthur, Brittany Hammock, Josh Kern, Mary Miles, Douglas McConnell, and Morgan Wood. The Liar opens Thursday, September 6th at 8:00 PM and runs Friday, September 7th and Saturday, September 8th at 8:00 PM with performances continuing through September 15th. The production is directed by Dewey Scott-Wiley and stars Scott-Wiley, Christine Hellman, Arischa Conner Frierson, and Jason Stokes. Production design by Heather Hawfield. Misery is Optional opens Wednesday, September 5th at 7:30 PM and runs Thursday, September 6th at 7:30 PM, Friday, September 7th at 8:00 PM, Saturday, September 8th at 8:00 PM, and closes Sunday, September 9th at 3:00 PM. Tickets are $20 for students/seniors/military and $25 for adults and can be purchased at the door, online, or by calling the box office at 803-254-9732, extension 1. Group rates also available.
