BWW Previews: MIDLANDS THEATRE ROUNDUP at Columbia, SC 9/13 - Columbia Children's Theatre presents SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE!

OPENING! Columbia Children's Theatre presents SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE! with book by George Keating, Kyle Hall, and Scott Ferguson, and music and lyrics by Bob Dorough, Dave Frishberg, George Newall, Kathy Mandry, Lynn Ahrens, and Tom Yohe. Based on an idea by David McCall and a television series created by George Newall and Tom Yohe. SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE! opens Saturday, September 15th with performances at 10:30 AM, 2:00 PM, and 7:00 PM, and runs Sunday, September 16th at 3:00 PM, with performances continuing through September 23rd. Tickets are $10 for adults and children over 3, $8 for seniors and active military, and $5 on Saturday nights and can be purchased online or at the door. CLOSING! The South Carolina Shakespeare Company presents THE LIAR by David Ives, adapted from Le Menteur by Pierre Corneille. The production is directed by Scott Blanks and stars Jeff Driggers, Sam Hetler, Hillary MacArthur, Brittany Hammock, Josh Kern, Mary Miles, Douglas McConnell, and Morgan Wood.
