Fort Wayne Civic Theatre has announced that Billy Dawson has been cast in the title roles of Jekyll & Hyde The Musical. Mr. Dawson is an accomplished vocalist/actor with numerous local and regional credits, including recent appearances in Chicago. The role of Emma will be played by Lindsay Hoops and Darby LeClear will play the role of Lucy.

When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, she is put into protective custody in the one place cops are sure she won't be found-a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and an uptight Mother Superior. Using her fabulous disco-ness and killer voice to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church, but in doing so blows her cover. Soon it's nun-on-the-run time but she finds salvation in the heavenly power of her new sisterhood. Based on the mega-hit film, SISTER ACT, the musical will feature songs ranging from Motown, soul and funk to disco and Barry White inspired comedy.

A powerful and timely musical, Godspell, will kick off the 2017-2018 season through the Bethel College Department of Theatre's Studio Series, a program that provides theatre-making opportunities for students, while offering audiences thought-provoking theatre. Godspell will be performed at the Bethel College Octorium in the Middleton Science Building on the south side of campus. Performances will run from Thursday, September 28th through Saturday September 30th with evening shows at 7:30pm, and a Saturday Matinee at 1pm.

Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. The dazzling score features well known standards including Blue Skies, I Love A Piano, How Deep Is the Ocean and the perennial favorite, White Christmas. More than one hundred entertainers and performers have been assembled from near and far to fill four full days of free scheduled music and dance sets during the Amish Acres 55th Annual Arts & Crafts Festival Thursday, August 3 through Sunday, August 6. Barbershop quartets, jugglers, and clowns will be strolling the grounds, along with Liza and Mark Woolever, playing folk songs and bluegrass breakdowns, to delight children and adults alike as they shop nearly 300 unique artists and crafters from every corner of the country. Visitors relax under the shade of tents while musicians, dancers, marionettes, and magicians entertain on three stages and in the Entertainment Tent during the nationally acclaimed event.
