Fort Wayne's premiere performing arts training destination, Triple Threat Performing Arts Academy, is proud to announce the members of their inaugural Pre-Professional Musical Theatre Company. Members include Lauren Harter, Sarah Hobson, Jamee Johnson, Jordan Lawson, Katie Magley, Trey McFarland, Triniti McFarland, Yasmin Ortiz, Owen Slabach, Mackenzie Stroud, and Jakob Tomlinson.
Pre-professional artists are students who may be looking to pursue Musical Theatre at the University or Professional level. These young artists will receive the highest quality professional training in the musical theatre arts. The diverse and rigorous curriculum is an extension of the training these students are receiving as members of their Elite (Grades 5-8) and Senior (Grades 9-12) Musical Theatre Companies. Enrollment was by invitation only, upon successful completion of a demanding audition process. TTPAA Artistic Director, Andy Planck, shares, "Northeast Indiana is home to some of the most extraordinary and unusual concentration of young musical theatre talent in the Midwest, perhaps in the country. What a thrill to select the 'best of the best' and lovingly and creatively invest in their artistic growth. We so look forward to an incredible year."
