It's been nearly a year in the making! Ever since we closed Rock 'n Roll Heaven last season, everybody kept asking, "when will you bring it back?" Well, you asked for it and we delivered! The most successful and popular show in Centre Stage history returns to the Upstate tonight with Rock 'n Roll Heaven 2! This electrifying concert features music from some of Rock's greatest decades, including hits from the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's.

If you missed last season's Rock 'n Roll Heaven, here's your chance to see what everybody was raving about! And if you saw it last year, you won't want to miss reliving some of Rock's greatest hits in this incredible sequel. Once again, we pay tribute to the artists whose genius defined American popular music. From Jimi Hendrix to Blood, Sweat and Tears to Lynard Skynard to the Righteous Brothers -- we sought out the very best Rock has to offer and showcase the songs with some of the Upstate's most talented performers.

Our unparalleled roster of performers boasts an incredible array of impressive credits including an American Idol Hollywood finalist, studio sessions in Los Angeles and Nashville, and touring with Paul McCartney, Bette Midler, and Frank Sinatra. Returning from last season's Rock 'n Roll Heaven are Katie Rockwell, Drew Horton, Marvin King, Kelley Norwine, Victor Young, Larry Zarella and Casey Thornton. Joining them are Rock 'n Roll Heaven 2's newest rockers, Rashonda Greggs, Laura Horton and April Schaeffer.

Directed and choreographed by Kimberlee Ferreira, with musical direction by Joe Wehunt, Rock 'n Roll Heaven 2 features some of the Upstate's most talented and accomplished musicians: Greg Day on bass, Tim Lee on electric guitar, Garrett McKinney on drums, Doug Norwine on the saxophone, and Joe Wehunt on keyboard.

Rock 'n Roll Heaven 2 opens tonight, running February 3-26 (performances are Thursday through Sunday only), with 8:00 p.m. performances on Feb. 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26 and three Sunday matinee performances at 3:00 p.m. on Feb. 6, 13, and 20. Tickets are $30 for adults with discounts for students. All seats are reserved. To purchase tickets, call the box office at 864-233-6733. Box office hours are Tuesday through Friday from 2:00-6:00 p.m. and two hours before performances.
