Go on a Musical Journey with Spenelo in LIFE, LOVE, LUST at the Alexander Upstairs

LIVE, LOVE, LUST, an hour-long live music show written and performed by Spenelo, with Riaan Oppelt on bass, Robin Lang on lead guitar and Bert Zona on drums, will play the Alexander Bar's Upstairs Theatre for one performance this July.

In LIFE, LOVE, LUST, Spenelo takes audiences on a musical journey through his mind. Filled with ballads, tongue-in-cheek sarcasm and up-beat dedications to muses, he and his band, MakeShifte, paint a tapestry of memorable stories and songs.

Spenelo has been singing and playing music seriously since the turn of the century. As a songwriter and vocalist, he has performed and recorded in studio professionally for many years, forging an indie-rock sound with his band, MakeShifte. His fellow musicians, Lang and Oppelt, have impressive histories themselves, while young and energetic drummer Zona's energy and knowledge of music have been refreshing to the group.

LIVE, LOVE, LUST runs at the Alexander Upstairs on 9 July at 19:00 nightly.
