GRAVY to Open at On Broadway, 19th to 30th July

On Broadway will present GRAVY, Tuesdays to Saturdays from 19th to 30th July 2011. GRAVY is an American 80's musical about 17 year old Maria, a shy and withdrawn girl trying to reach her dream of becoming an international disco diva. Set within the soulful environment of the local church against the background of 80's American gospel choir singing, Maria's dreams are hindered by her father, Pastor Harold, a strong-willed preacher and respected community leader. Maria's journey of finding and expressing herself through her voice leaves everyone dancing in their seats and filled with the feeling that even through the struggle, dreams and ambitions can always come true.

GRAVY turns dreams and goals into reality ... no matter how big or small! A song and dance into the comedy, tragedy, drama and romance of the 80's.
