Alicia McCormick in DIRTY WORDS

Jon Keevy's DIRTY WORDS was born in the fast and loose crucible that is Alexander Upstairs' own monthly experimental platform, Play Things. Immediately it became a cult sensation, soon developing into a full length sketch comedy show under the direction of Jason Potgieter and enjoying runs at the National Arts Festival as well as at the Kalk Bay Theatre last year.

Filthy, explicit and incredibly funny, DIRTY WORDS pulls back the covers on erotica, chat sex, dirty talk and naughty sexy grammar. In seven sketches, Alicia McCormick and Dylan Esbach turn up the raunch, slipping in sexy tongue twisters and burlesque shenanigans in a show that contains all the dirty words - and also some almost nudity.

DIRTY WORDS will run at the Alexander Bar and Café's Upstairs Theatre from 17 - 28 Feburary at 9pm. Tickets are R100 (R80 prepaid) and can be booked online at the Alexander Bar's website or at the bar itself. For telephone bookings and enquiries, call 021 300 1652. Alexander Bar & Café is situated at 76 Strand Street in the Cape Town CBD.
