and Willie Blignaut in THE UNEXPECTED GUEST

Presented by the Claremont Dramatic Society, the classic Agatha Christie murder mystery THE UNEXPECTED GUEST is currently on stage at The Masque Theatre in Muizenberg. This mysterious whodunnit comes to life under the direction of local favourite, Lynn Moss, who recently directed ABIGAIL'S PARTY for The Masque Theatre Players.

THE UNEXPECTED GUEST begins late one night when, stumbling through the fog, Michael Starkwedder (Bryan Look) happens across a house and enters through a window leading into the study. Here he finds the dead body of a man and the corpse's stunned wife, Laura Warwick (Gizelle Willows), clutching the murder weapon.

With its ingenious display of suspects, THE UNEXPECTED GUESTS has ensnared audiences with its delightful twists and turns since the play's original premiere in 1959. This new production promises to fill the air with tension and stun local audiences into a state of uncertainty, keeping them guessing until the final curtain falls.

THE UNEXPECTED GUEST runs until 4 November. Tickets cost R100 and booking is through Computicket.
