ANDRIC MCETYWA LIVE Brings Jazz to the Alexander Bar's Upstairs Theatre
The sounds of live jazz will fill the stage at the Alexander Bar's Upstairs Theatre, when Mzukisi "Andric" Mcetywa play an hour-long set at Cape Town's most intimate theatre venue this November.
ANDRIC MCETYWA LIVE will be Mcetywa's flagship event for 2016, capping off a year with brilliant performances at various Cape Town venues, including The Crypt.
Born in the Eastern Cape in 1991, Mcetywa is one of Cape Town's finest young musical talents. Having graduated from The Jazz Workshop in 2010, his mentors and fellow band members include Temba Fassie, Simphiwe Mathole, Camillo Lombard and many other icons on the local jazz scene.
ANDRIC MCETYWA LIVE will play the Alexander Bar's Upstairs Theatre on Sunday 13 November at 19:00. Tickets cost R70-R80 and can be booked online or at the bar, anytime during its regular opening hours. Telephone bookings can be made on 021 300 1652.
