From the rough and tumble of an actor's rehearsal to the glamour of moonlight in the south of France '4 Love' presents 6 scenes from the most popular playwrights of the 20th century.

4 Actors playing 18 parts between them from Noel Coward in the thirties through to Harold Pinter at the end of the century via John Osbourne, Alan Ayckbourn, Alan Bennett, and Michael Frayn. Between them these playwrights have written over 300 plays and received nearly 100 awards, three knighthoods and a Nobel prize.
