Arts Night is the premier arts gala event of the year with food, fine art and competitive bidding in support of the Visual Arts Center and its mission to bring art into our community through programs and curated exhibitions. Cocktail hour begins at 5 p.m. followed by dinner and the auction.
At the event, Rob Oliver will receive the 2017 Emeritus Award. The Emeritus Award is presented to award former Visual Arts Center or Civic Fine Arts board members who have a record of stellar support of the Visual Arts Center and the arts in Sioux Falls.
The 2017 Arts Night exhibition, REPRESENT, pays homage to the participating artists and community that have continually supported the Visual Arts Center over the years. This juried exhibition on display in the Visual Arts Center Everist Gallery through April 23, features diverse media and artists from near and far. Artwork and auction items can also be viewed and bid on at artsnight.gesture.com.
