Sharon Yazowski, Director of the Levitt Foundation in Los Angeles, CA will visit Sioux Falls Sept. 19-20. As part of her visit, she will be the featured guest at a public Coffee & Conversation event hosted by the Sioux Falls Arts Council and Downtown Sioux Falls.

Members of the public are invited to attend: September 19 at 10 AM. Meeting Room A of the Downtown Library

Yazowski will give a short presentation at 10 A.M. and, along with Don Kearney, Director of Parks and Rec and Jennifer Kirby, leader of the local Friends of Levitt organization, will then engage in conversation with attendees.

Background: The Levitt Foundation has committed to long-term support of the development and operation of the Levitt Shell outdoor performance venue for which construction begins in spring 2018 at the current location of Falls Park West.

The Levitt Foundation's investment in communities across the country requires a partnership with a local non-profit organization and municipal government. In Sioux Falls, that partnership is with the Friends of Levitt Shell Sioux Falls and the City's Parks and Recreation Department.
