The touring companies of Riverdance and Disney's Beauty and the Beast will visit the Washington Pavilion later this spring. Riverdance will perform one night only on March 22, and Beauty and the Beast will perform April 5-7.

Riverdance is a theatrical show consisting of traditional Irish stepdancing, notable for its rapid leg movements while body and arms are kept largely stationary.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast features the animated film's Academy Award®-winning score with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by the late Howard Ashman, with additional songs with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Tim Rice.

Shows are April 5, 6, & 7, 2011 at 7 PM. Tickets cost $39, $53, $60 plus tax
