Champion Foundation to Present 2nd Annual THE ART OF MUSIC Event

The Champion Foundation has announced its 2nd Annual charity event, The Art of Music, taking place Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Shriver Square Atrium in downtown Sioux Falls. Open to the public, this one-of-a-kind evening will celebrate the intersection of music and visual art while supporting vital arts initiatives in the community.

“The Art of Music” will showcase original artwork in the theme of “Concert Posters Reimagined”. The original artwork will be the local artists' take on show posters from real concerts – if they were to design the poster for the show.

All featured art will be available for purchase, with a minimum of 50% of proceeds benefiting the Champion Foundation, while the remaining stay with the artist. Funds raised will help support programs such as the Sioux Falls School District's guitar education initiatives and partnerships with institutions like the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, bringing music education and inspiration to students and the broader community.

In addition to the original artwork, an assortment of Pepper Entertainment's exclusive real signed show posters will be available for purchase with 100% of the proceeds going to the Champion Foundation.

Local artists interested in participating are invited to submit their work by August 17, 2026 for consideration at www.pepperentertainment.com/theartofmusic.

“We're excited to bring The Art of Music back for a second year with a new theme,” said Analisa McKelvey, member of the Champion Foundation. “This event reflects what we stand for — bringing people together through creativity while supporting music‑education initiatives in our community. Last year was a great turnout and we're excited to build on that momentum as local artists and musicians come together again to make an impact.”

ABOUT THE CHAMPION FOUNDATION

The Champion Foundation, established in 2022 by Pepper Entertainment, is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to enriching communities through the power of music. Guided by the belief that music brings people together, the Foundation works in partnership with artists, educators, and patrons to create meaningful impact in the areas it serves. Since its inception, the Champion Foundation has partnered with the Sioux Falls School District to introduce guitar classes as part of the district's Fine Arts Program. This initiative connects students with real-world applications of their education and encourages exploration of future careers in the music industry — from marketing and production to stage design and lighting. With continued support, the Champion Foundation is committed to expanding these opportunities and bringing transformative music-based programs to communities across the country.
