The Idaho Falls Arts Council presents: Blues Traveler Monday, July 20, 8:00 pm. Tickets $36 & $29/Civic Auditorium 522-0471
Led by John Popper's virtuoso harmonica playing, Blues Traveler really knows how to rock. The band has been influenced by a variety of genres, including blues, psychedelic, folk, soul, and Southern rock. Fans know and love them for their improvisational live shows, but the general public is most familiar with the group from their singles "But Anyway", "Run Around " and "Hook".

Roy Clark may be best known for hosting Hee Haw, but this iconic figure in country music has received numerous awards over the years including Comedian, Entertainer, and Instrumentalist Of The Year. Clark is highly regarded as both a guitarist and banjo player. Hit songs include "Yesterday, When I was Young" and "Thank God and Greyhound".

Over 35 years since first Sittin' In together, Kenny Loggins and Jimmy Messina are again side-by-side for a nationwide tour. The American rock-pop duo first achieved their success in the early to mid-70s. Their style features exceptional harmony and thoughtful lyrics, whose most enduring songs were so well crafted that they have never really gone away. Among their well-known songs are "Danny's Song" and "Your Mama Don't Dance".

Beyond Expectations Joy Reyneke & Blake Fitch Joy_Reyneke July 9 - September 5, 2009
The photographic works of Joy Reyneke and Blake Fitch cross paths at the intersection of human experience. Ms. Reyneke's images of life in Nicaragua soon after hurricane Felix and Ms. Fitch's visual documentation of a northeastern American girl's adolescence may seem worlds apart in subject matter, but resonate in terms of substance. Their work provides evidence that a broad spectrum of emotion can be experienced in a variety of circumstances.
