The Big Groove (TBG) – Asia’s annual urban dance festival – celebrates urban dance with a festivity of events that promises to entertain all dance enthusiasts, from non-dancers to absolute beginners to professional dancers.

The TBG 2016 showcases a night of amazing technique, fresh concepts, spectacular musicality and exhilarating choreography. Featuring an exhibition of pieces performed by a stellar ensemble of dancers: EL SQUAD (Japan), RIEHATATOYKYO (Japan), A Team (Philippines), ScRach MarcS (Singapore) Champion of The Dance Floor 2015 and premiering the collaborative work between Tony Tzar (Los Angeles) and Six.5, the first urban dance company in Singapore to be the recipient of National Arts Council’s Major Grant.
