Freedom Tongues and Naiad Productions in association with Park Theatre present Bullet Hole by Gloria Williams, which is set to be performed at Park Theatre from 2nd to 27th October.

Ballet Hispanico honored Latin music superstars Emilio & Gloria Estefan with the Nuestra Inspiracion Award; legendary fashion designer Carolina Herrera with the Toda Una Vida Award; and businessman and community activist Marcos Torres with the Civic Inspiration Award; at its annual CARNAVAL Gala on Monday, May 7, 2018 at The Plaza Hotel's Grand Ballroom, 768 Fifth Avenue, NYC. Proceeds, which totaled over $1.1 million last year, benefit the creation of new choreographic works, much needed scholarships for young people, and immersive dance programs for communities around the world.

Host Mario Batali and attendees Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Karolina Kurkova, and more created a one-of-a-king evening, merging theater and the culinary arts in support of healthy, equitable food access and youth-led food justice. Cirque du Soleil's acclaimed LUZIA is the inspiration of a new public mural downtown in honor of Chicago's Year of Public Art. In partnership with Columbia College Chicago and the Wabash Arts Corridor (WAC), Cirque du Soleil commissioned Chicago artist Gloria 'Gloe' Talamantes to create the mural. Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) presents the summer family musical production Madagascar - A Musical Adventure, directed and choreographed by Rachel Rockwell, at the Theater's home on Navy Pier, July 13-August 27, 2017. TheatreWorks Silicon Valley kicks off its 48th season with the World Premiere of The Four Immigrants: An American Musical Manga. Drawn from one of the first ever graphic novels, set to an infectious ragtime and vaudeville score by local composer/lyricist Min Kahng, the comic musical follows four Japanese immigrants in a world of possibility and prejudice: turn-of-the-twentieth-century San Francisco. Broadway Global has announced the nominees for the 2017 Producer of the Year. The 2016 winners, Cathy Rigby McCoy & Tom McCoy, the first woman and first couple ever chosen as Producers of the Year (we couldn't honor one, without the other). Sweat, the acclaimed new play by Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage, directed by Kate Whoriskey completed its long journey and opened last night on Broadway.
