Rising Sun Performance Company (RSP) returned to the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity (PCTF) for the fifth consecutive year, with the World Premiere of ELEPHANT, written by Eva MeiLing Pollitt. The production is co-directed by RSP Artistic Director, Akia Squitieri, and Associate Artistic Director, Anna Hogan

Court Theatre, under the leadership of Marilyn F. Vitale Artistic Director Charles Newell and Executive Director Stephen J. Albert, concludes the 2016-2017 Season with the Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy Harvey by Mary Chase, directed by Devon De Mayo. Harvey runs May 11 - June 11, 2017 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. Ellis Avenue in Chicago. The Press Opening is Saturday, May 20 at 8:00 p.m.

A new comedy by Molly Smith Metzler closes the 2015-2016 ESL Wilson Stage Series as Geva Theatre Center presents The May Queen. Directed by Amanda Charlton, The May Queen runs in the Elaine P. Wilson Stage from May 3 through May 29.

As BroadwayWorld reported yesterday, legendary singer, songwriter and actor David Bowie has passed away following a long battle with cancer. He was 69. The news was shared on Bowie's officialFacebook : January 10 2016 - David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family's privacy during their time of grief.
