Silver Glass Productions presents the World Premiere of alt-Hamlet, a carnivalesque/grotesque new black comedy with characters and situations loosely inspired by Shakespeare's classic drama.

Something Rotten! is a musical comedy set in 1595. The story follows the Bottom brothers, who struggle to find success in the theatrical world as they compete with the wild popularity of their contemporary William Shakespeare. Directed by Gustavo Barchilon, the musical stars Marcos Veras, George Sauma, Laila Garin, Leo Bahia and a great cast.

 Audiences are thoroughly enjoying themselves at Bucks County Playhouse's production of Broadway's hilarious romantic comedy "I Hate Hamlet." The production, which runs through December 1 and was hailed by The New York Times as "Unapologetically silly…hilarious!" is directed by Marc Bruni ("Beautiful: The Carol King Musical").

The Lakewood Playhouse is proud to be part of the 50th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION of Tom Stoppard's Comedy Masterpiece - ROSENCRANTZ & GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD - and both Shows will be performed Fridays, Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm.

Playwrights Horizons and Center Theatre Group present The Christians, the New York premiere of a new play by Lucas Hnath (A Public Reading of an Unproduced Screenplay About the Death of Walt Disney, Isaac's Eye, Death Tax). Directed by Obie Award winnerLes Waters (Doris to Darlene at PH; the recent 10 Out of 12; In the Next Room, or the vibrator play; Big Love; eurydice), the play is the opening production of the theater company's 2015/2016 Season.

HAMLET IN BED, written by Michael Laurence and directed by Lisa Peterson, is currently in previews for a September 17, 2015 opening. HAMLET IN BED plays at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place. Joining Mr. Laurence in the cast is Annette O'Toole. The production runs through Sunday, October 25. The cast of CPC Theatrical's new production of William Shakespeare's Hamlet have been busy rehearsing for the June 25 preview and June 26 opening at the Abbey Theater of Dublin, located in the Dublin Community Recreation Center in Coffman Park.
