Elf The Musical Photos - US Tour

As BroadwayWorld sadly reported yesterday, Thomas Meehan, who is best known for his books of such classics as Annie, The Producers and Hairspray, has passed away at 88 years old.

La Jolla Playhouse presents Freaky Friday, book by Bridget Carpenter (TV's 'Friday Night Lights,' 'Parenthood'), music and lyrics by the Tony Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning team of Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey (Next to Normal, If/Then), based on the novel 'Freaky Friday' by Mary Rodgers and the Walt Disney motion pictures, to be directed by Playhouse Artistic Director Christopher Ashley, running tonight, January 31 , through March 12, 2017 in the Mandell Weiss Theatre.

Goodspeed Musicals will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the beloved musical Fiddler on the Roof with an inspiring new production beginning June 27th at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Conn. Walnut Street Theatre's 2013-2014 Independence Studio on 3 season continues with the Olivier Award-winner for Best Comedy, THE RISE AND FALL OF LITTLE VOICE. Written by Jim Cartwright, and directed by Dan Olmstead, the production opens tomorrow, March 27th and continues through April 13th in the Walnut's Independence Studio on 3.
