Disney Theatrical Productions and Stage Entertainment celebrated the European premiere of Disney's hit Broadway musical Aladdin last night at the Stage Theatre Neue Flora in Hamburg, Germany. The production was cast locally and is performed in German. Check out a first look at the cast in action below!

Broadway's ALADDIN stars Adam Jacobs and Courtney Reed recently met with their German counterparts- the stars of the upcoming Hamburg premiere of ALADDIN DAS MUSICAL. Disney's Aladdin, the Tony Award-winning new musical comedy based on the Academy Award®-winning animated film, will be the subject of an entire category on the Thursday, January 15 episode of "Jeopardy!," marking only the third time the show has dedicated an entire category to a single Broadway show. For the first time in the history of "Jeopardy!," the show will incorporate performance footage from Aladdin in each of the category's clues.

The Pumpkin Theatre's ALADDIN & THE MAGIC LAMP is a colorful and charming version of the famous fairy-tale. My delightful five-year-old guest became so engrossed in the story she forgot to sit down and looked like she might fly onto the stage to rescue the hero and his princess from the evil clutches of the dastardly villains. It's always heartening to see the digital generation put aside their gadgets and fall under the spell of classic theater.

Lea Salonga, the singing voice of Jasmine in the iconic ALADDIN film took a magic carpet ride to Broadway for a night to visit Aladdin himself - Adam Jacobs! Salonga provided the singing voice of two official Disney Princesses: Jasmine in Aladdin (1992), and Fa Mulan in Mulan (1998) and Mulan II (2004). She was named a Disney Legend in 2011 for her work with The Walt Disney Company. Most recently, she's toured with IL DIVO.

Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award winner Whoopi Goldberg attended last night's performance of Broadway's new smash musical comedy Aladdin at the New Amsterdam Theatre. Following the performance, Goldberg went backstage to visit with Tony nominee James Monroe Iglehart (Genie), who was near tears at meeting one of his idols, and the cast.
