Court Theatre, under the continuing leadership of Charles Newell, Marilyn F. Vitale Artistic Director, continues its 2017/18 season with Guess Who's Coming to Dinner by Todd Kreidler (based on the screenplay by William Rose), directed by Marti Lyons with Associate Director Wardell Julius Clark. Guess Who's Coming to Dinner runs March 15 - April 15, 2018 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. Ellis Ave. The press opening is Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 8:00pm.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley kicks off its 48th season with the World Premiere of The Four Immigrants: An American Musical Manga. Drawn from one of the first ever graphic novels, set to an infectious ragtime and vaudeville score by local composer/lyricist Min Kahng, the comic musical follows four Japanese immigrants in a world of possibility and prejudice: turn-of-the-twentieth-century San Francisco. From a tumultuous earthquake to an exhilarating World's Fair, the quartet pursues the American Dream, despite limited options in the land of opportunity. Directed by TheatreWorks Associate Artistic Director Leslie Martinson, and developed at TheatreWorks' 2016 New Works Festival, the World Premiere ofThe Four Immigrants: An American Musical Manga will be presented July 12-August 6, 2017 (press opening: July 15) at Lucie Stern Theatre, 1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto. TheatreWorks, the nationally acclaimed theatre of Silicon Valley, presents the regional premiere of the recent Broadway hit TIME STANDS STILL by Pulitzer Prize-winner Donald Margulies (Dinner with Friends, Brooklyn Boy). The play will be helmed by Leslie Martinson and stars Rebecca Dines and Mark Anderson Phillips in the pivotal roles of the photojournalist and war correspondent, with Rolf Saxon and Sarah Moser completing the cast. TIME STANDS STILL runs August 22 - September 16, 2012 (press opening August 25) at TheatreWorks at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts. Jeremy Herrin directs the World Premiere of Matthew Dunster's Children's Children running at the Almeida now through 30 June 2012, with press night on 24 May. Designs are by Robert Innes Hopkins with lighting by Neil Austin and sound by Ian Dickinson. The cast comprises Emily Berrington (Effie), Beth Cordingly (Louisa), Darrell D'Silva (Michael), Trevor Fox (Gordon), John MacMillan (Castro) and Sally Rogers (Sally). TheatreWorks of Silicon Valley is set to present the West Coast Premiere of THE PITMEN PAINTERS, from the writer of the hit film and musical Billy Elliot and the co-writer of the period drama screenplay War Horse.

On 14 November 2011 Gillian Bevan (Mrs Wilkinson) and Deka Walmsley (Dad) will join the West End production of Billy Elliot the Musical along with Ann Emery who returns to the cast to play Grandma, the role she originated on stage at the Victoria Palace in 2005 and played until 2010. They will be joined by new principal cast members Michael Peavoy (Tony), Sean Kearns (George) and Simon Ray Harvey (Mr. Braithwaite).
